I went running with Aunt K.
Calling it running is even a crime. She walked while I attempted to get some workout keeping pace with her. It was slow, annoying and basically a waste of time. The only good thing that came out of it is the realization that whoever came up with that saying “slow and steady wins the race” is a lair. Fast and steady, maybe.
If you think reading one page a day while your collegues read 10 will allow you get better grades, I am here to debunk that theory. Yes steady is good, but it should not be slow. Slow at best will make you average, a maintained rate will get you to the finish line in good time so you can do other things with your precious time: like get to work on time.
So morale of this painful ‘jog’? The slowest is usually the last regardless of what situation. Be steady, keep pace with your peers but for god’s sake don’t be slow!!!
